Yeah, as you'd noticed, I've pretty much haven't updated here in a while. Mostly because of school work and the fact I'm going through something of a creativity block. Right now I want to focus on getting better artistically. So far I am, but at a slower rate than most people. I want to be able to draw other subjects and not the same ones I've shown here. I don't want to the label on "unoriginal artist." My style is improving, yes, but I want to further develop it some more. As for characters for my stories, they're getting much needed updates as are the stories themselves.

I also may change my fursona, maybe into a different character. Rayne will still exist if this happens, but she's a representation of a different me as I used to be. As to what this character will be if I go this direction, I don't know. As of this point in my life, I'm a blank canvas trying to fill in most of the details.

As for the artwork I've been promising, it's coming when I have the time, energy, and motivation. Most of my energy is directed towards sketches in my sketchbook, primarily concept art and thumbnails. You will see those every once in awhile, but on my art blog at [link] currently. The blog might get an overall upgrade.

...So I guess the main point here is my trying to make some necessary changes in not only my artwork, but myself. I feel like I haven't changed at all or have been completely satisfied with the changes surrounding my life. For the next several months and probably years, I'll be working hard to make those changes and goals possible.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still come back here and upload something every once in awhile. I'll still check messages and other deviations and all that. However, my time will be better spent on finally designing and creating my own website showcasing my artwork and writings as well as getting my life on track.
